Constellations

CONSTELLATIONS is a large-scale interactive experience that forges a sense of connection amongst participants. Drawing inspiration from the cosmos and the shapes woven in the stars, this artwork displays the natural beauty of celestial fractals across the giant walls of the Ex Penitenciaría Juárez in Mérida, Mexico.

Two alternating modes activate this experience through the simple use of mobile phone flashlights: one invites you to draw up constellations by connecting your star with that of others, while the second one guides you to discover entire galaxies hiding behind the coloured orbs.
