Cosmos

Inspired by ancient astral connections, COSMOS is a giant interactive sphere that occupied the central Plaza de Bolivar in Bogotá (Colombia) for nine days last December, attracting a crowd of nearly 80,000 people. The experience sought to represent the diversity of the community and to unite its members by bringing to life constellations composed of interconnected faces of thousands of people.

More than 33,000 people contributed to this interactive artwork by adding their face to the constellations appearing on the sphere through a custom-developed web application. The mobile experience also allowed users to navigate through the ever-growing network of faces.
