Nor Mind

NOR MIND is a multiuser interactive sculpture that reacts to the audience’s touch.

Composed of two large separated LED walls, the piece evolves as many participants interact at the same time. They are invited to come close and touch the projected flickering patterns that instantly start following the hand movements. Aiming to blur the synthetic with the organic, NOR MIND juxtaposes geometric shapes with sounds inspired by nature. The aim is to create a short-lived confusion, making people forget where they stand and the surrounding technology and bringing them closer to natural elements – even if for one short instant.

Over 4 chapters, NOR MIND seeks to evoke a clash of opposing emotions, on the edge of the digital/organic frontier.
