FAQ

2024 – 2025 Tour

Q: In the context of Digital Public Art, what does a ‘tour’ mean ?

A: We are focusing on specific geographic areas to centralize our resources, lower costs and reduce our environmental impact as we move from one exhibition to another.

A:

1 – SOLSTICE
2 – CREATURES
3 – CONTROL NO CONTROL
4 – NOR MIND
5 – FACES
6 – ICEBERGS
7 – ANTIBODIES
8 – AS WATER FALLS

Q: Where can these pieces tour ?

A: All of the artworks can tour in Canada, the US, South America, Europe, the Middle East and in Oceania except for SOLSTICE, which is only available for touring in Canada and the US for the moment.

Q: Isn’t it very hard and expensive to move such big structures across borders ?

A:  Generally, we only need to move 1 box with minimal equipment (sensors and computers). This is because most of our pieces can be built  using audio–visual equipment that can be rented locally all around the world. We can assist in searching for the best suited provider.

Q: How many people from the studio need to travel to set up an artwork ?

A: Some installations require the on-site presence of 1 Technical Director from our team. Other installations can be monitored remotely from start to finish. In addition, our technologies permit remote monitoring of our installations for the duration of the exhibition.

Q: Do you offer turnkey exhibitions ?

A: We may offer a turnkey solution with all the required AV equipment, exclusively for the US/CAN markets. SOLSTICE is always offered as a turnkey installation.

Q: What is the minimum exhibition length ?

A: For our media installations, a minimum of 5 days is required. For large-scale sculptural installations (ie SOLSTICE), the minimum is 1 month.

Q: How long in advance does the artwork need to be booked ?

A: 3 to 4 weeks.
